NB YOU CAN JOIN FOR HALF THE ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION (i.e.£15) FOR THE REMAINING SIX FILMS OF THE SEASON.
For our 2011 - 2012 season we offer another programme of excellent films selected from all over the world. We do not expect everyone to like every film. However, we do suggest that if you decide to give unfamiliar, and possibly strange-sounding titles a chance, you will (more often than not) be delighted, and find your film horizons extended rewardingly.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
Full season rates for 2011-12 are :-
Membership £30
Students £15
The subscription covers admission to all the season's shows. You will also receive free programme notes at each show and be invited to participate in the selection of future programmes.
GUESTS
Members may bring guests to any Society show. On payment of the guest fee ( £5 ) to the guest ticket officer in the foyer before the show, each guest will receive a programme which serves as a ticket.
VENUES AND TIMES
All our shows take place in the Hawthorne Theatre at Campus West on Fridays starting, at 7.45 p.m. and mostly they will finish around 10.00 p.m.
LETCHWORTH FILM CLUB
We have a reciprocal arrangement with Letchworth Film Club, under which members of each may attend films shown by the other Society free of charge. For details of their programme, see the "Useful Links" page on this website
HOW TO JOIN
Simply come along to any show and see Anna Gladstone or cut out the application form on the leaflet which is enclosed with our brochure; fill in the information required; enclose a cheque for the required amount and post to the Membership Officer.
